1. Plan
Firstly you must plan what you would like to do your project about. Are you going to do a little bit about everything we have learnt about the Vikings so far or are you going to choose just a few things. For example you might only want to do your project on Viking Long Ships, houses, food and clothes. Perhaps you might want to do your project about the Battle of Clontarf, Viking weapons and Valhalla.
2. Where will you get your information from?
Can you find all the information you need on this website? Do you need to go to your local library and borrow some books?
3. How will I lay it out?
Write a little paragraph neatly about each topic you want to talk about and cut it out. Don't forget to title each paragraph ( for example write Viking Long Ships on the top of your paragraph about Viking Long Ships). You could print off some pictures to stick onto your project, or you could draw and colour in some pictures for your project. You may have a large piece of coloured card from school to stick all your information on. Don't forget that you need to write a title on the top of your project, your project is called The Vikings. Here's an example of a project that another child did about taste. See you they laid it out in different sections and added colour to make it look attractive.
